Williams Furnace Week - Day 1

Today is day one of Williams Furnace Week and we're featuring the Williams Direct-Vent Furnace. What is Williams Furnace Week? We have been so impressed with the Williams line of products that we've decided to take an entire week to showcase their company. For seven days, we'll be featuring one line of Williams equipment, talking about the features, listing the benefits and most importantly, lowering the prices on the product to make it more affordable than ever to provide total and supplemental heating to almost every area where you would need heat.

Attractive styling, economical and safe heating comfort is what you'll get with a Direct-Vent furnace from Williams. These compact, space-saving furnaces feature low-cost installation and operation. In addition to traditional home applications, these furnaces are great for garages and workshops.

    Direct-Vent Means Safety
Let's start off by looking at why you might want to use a Direct-Vent furnace. First of all, these models use no inside air for operation. Any air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from the outside through direct wall vent, and all combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat, in continuous circulation is delivered into the room. Windows and doors can stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. Direct-Vent translates to safety in your home or other heated area. Available in both Natural Gas and Propane options.

    No Power, No Problem
Next, consider this: No electricity is required for these units to operate. How great would that be during power outages? The units are equipped with a self-generating, automatic millivolt thermostat that may be wall-mounted or cabinet-mounted. They also feature a "matchless" pilot ignitor and glass observation door which assures convenient pilot lighting without matches.

    Designed to Last
Lastly, when you take a look at the equipment, you'll see that it's well built, attractive in design and easy to install. The combustion chamber is ceramic-coated to give it a long life. The cast-iron burners are heavy-duty and will last. The outside of the equipment is an attractive, durable, soft-white, scratch-resistant finish that easily blends in with any decor. To top it off, Williams throws in all the venting you'll need to install the equipment for up to a 9" wall thickness.

    Available Models
Now let's take a look at the six different model numbers and sizes that Williams makes available. Clicking on the model number will take you to the description page on the ComfortGurus.com website:
    Accessories & Warranty
As you can see, they truly offer a size that can work for almost any configuration that you might need. And, don't worry, they offer a full list of accessories for their Direct-Vent furnaces including add-on blowers, gas conversion kits, vent extension kits, vent-cap guards and all the replacement parts you would need if anything were to fail on the equipment. As for the warranty, the combustion chamber carries a 10-year limited warranty and all other parts carry a 1-year warranty.
